“Feijoas, despite being hard to get hold of in abundance in Otago, their autumnal charm is always much awaited.
The book, ‘FEIJOA’, by Kate Evans, taught me a lot about the history and culture of this fruit, which holds a special place in most New Zealanders’ hearts.
The two works in my exhibition, SAVOUR, (Extra Good Days and That Time of Year) pay homage to all that is addictively appealing about the humble Feijoa.”
