The painting is called Hospital Ship because it carries all my walking wounded from Aesop`s Kiwi fables on their journey to find a peaceable kingdom and out of harm`s way. You see the stormy rain clouds of their lives leaving behind them.  They sail to that golden horizon ahead of their bow where they hope to find a peaceful haven. Their pilot guide on the journey is the dolphin Pelorus Jack.  They sing the Old songs to keep their spirits up.

“Their voyage would take nobody knew how long, these poorly wounded by misadventure or their own folly, told their stories over and again, keeping spirits high singing the songs they all of them knew of old”.
