George Savill is a contemporary New Zealand artist renowned for his bold and expressive style. He joined ARTIS Gallery in February 2023 with his first solo exhibition, Arrangement.
With a penchant for repurposing old frames, Savill’s compositions spill out of the picture plane, creating a sense of freedom and movement. His innovative approach to composition pushes the boundaries of tradition.
Savill has exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions across the globe; including ARTIS Gallery, Auckland, Wilson & Dorset, Wanaka, George Perry Gallery, Tauranga, Kozminsky Gallery, Melbourne and Gallerie Martini in Hong Kong.
