May I remind you the title ‘Poet’s Bridge’ relates to the funding for the construction of the bridge in Pukekura Park, New Plymouth. It was from the winnings made for the donor from a racehorse called ‘Poet’, not as some believe because a poet committed suicide from the bridge.
