Since 1970 Szirmay has staged 35 solo exhibitions, completed 17 public commissions and participated in numerous National and International group exhibitions.
Her work is represented in private and public collections in New Zealand, Australia, Britain, Hungary, Sweden, Italy, Greece, Canada and U.S.A.
During the past 40 years Marte has investigated a variety of materials and processes continually seeking the most appropriate manifestation of her ideas.
