Siavash Momeny

Originally from Iran, Momeny’s paintings depict everyday objects wrapped in newspaper. Though their surface is masked, the objects are clearly recognisable. All of his works are painted with acrylic on canvas, some with muted backgrounds and others with striking silhouettes. Newspaper headlines and script are clearly visible, portraying the artist’s skill in capturing exacting detail.
