Congratulations to Nicky Foreman and John McLean who are finalists in the 23rd Annual Wallace Art Awards. Sir James Wallace established the Annual Wallace Art Awards 23 years ago. These Awards are the longest surviving and largest annual art awards of their kind in New Zealand, with a value amounting to over $195,000.
The four winners receive valuable residencies at prestigious institutions in the US and Switzerland. Many works by Award winners and finalists are purchased by the Trust each year to add to the Collection. This year 524 applications were received, with 90 of those selected as finalists.
